Species geographic ranges and distribution modelling
Species geographic ranges and distribution modelling
I try to understand what drives species distributions and how these patterns might shift as global change accelerates. To do this, I use models that help anticipate where species could persist (or disappear) under different environmental scenarios. A central part of my research is improving how we validate these models: testing how reliable their predictions are, identifying their limitations, and developing better ways to assess performance. Ultimately, my goal is to make biodiversity forecasts more robust and more useful for guiding conservation decisions in a rapidly changing world.
